Part One: Basic Character For Success in Conflict
The war is going to intensify in this season. The Lord of host is checking hearts to see who is ready for Him to teach their hands to war. It is a time of separation. Many will want to fight the dark powers and be the resistance but will be lacking the character needed. This war will be against incredible invisible evil. Deception and tyranny is well imputed in Canada with an agenda so far from all that is good and wholesome. What is good is looked at as harmful and what is harmful is seen as good. I am not at this time asked to bring forth plans and strategy in regards to this warfare. I am to disclose the conduct of the heart necessary to wrestle the father of lies. There has been too many casualties because of a zeal but a lack of wisdom. So what is God looking for in our hearts that can stand against the wiles of the devil? What are the conditions that must be in our lives and relationships to bind him and bring him down? Almost immediately we think about the armour of God found in Ephesians 6. This is NOT to be our our first preparation. God is not calling those who think they are armed into battle. God is looking for those in everyday life in the marketplace, in church and family, are functioning in His highest call. There is a condition of heart that is so loved by God that He will not send us to war without it because He knows we will fall. He desires all of us to be in this place. OK, I have kept you in suspense long enough.
"I TELL YOU OH MAN WHAT IS GOOD; AND WHAT THE LORD REQUIRES OF YOU IS TO DO JUSTLY; TO LOVE MERCY AND WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD"
To do justly what is right and to have a standard of good behaviour. The next part the Lord really impressed and said,” This is what I am looking for above many of the things we think are important. It is more than giving Mercy, it is to LOVE mercy. This is God’s very own nature imparted to us and the enemy has a 'hate-on' for all who embrace it. Mercy is what Christ did on the cross for all mankind so we could feel the embrace of the Father's love. Mercy is a disarming weapon. We release all those that wounded us and let us down and a door is open for God to touch them because of our mercy. He is looking at our conduct in the body of Christ. Those who love mercy have a special place in the Kingdom and angels are dispatched to aide and protect. And lastly, is God’s heart captured by our Humility? Do we want to serve where no-one can see us? Are we looking for position or are we washing feet? God truly walks with the humble and gives them His secrets. Only the humble will be placed in prominent places and allowed to carry a tremendous Glory that will draw many, including great leaders. Those who grieved for the church’s struggles will be given prophetic insight on how to "pray in solutions." Only those who see themselves as a part of the body and look to compliment other brothers and sisters more than themselves will be raised up in these last days. Those who promote themselves will be brought down.
Look in your heart. There may be some things not in alignment with the character of God. Well repent! Remember God LOVES MERCY and it is for you. Many great men God trusted, had at times failed miserably. Being touched by undeserved mercy, and given another chance, they have become mighty humble warriors filled with wisdom and kindness.
The separation is now taking place. If God sees you honestly trying, He will work Micah 6:8 in you and raise you up to be the mighty warrior you are called to be.
You are in my prayers…..Love, Dan.
