By far the greatest enemy of the prophet is Jezebel. She hates him above all things. If she can control him, she controls the church. Recognizing his or her call from an early age, long before they even know their destiny, she knows she must bring him under her witchcraft spell. If she can’t, she knows she must kill him or at least discredit him. I often wonder how many she has destroyed by abortions. She is brutal, cruel and without conscience. I have been dogged by her all my life.
Instead of destroying the prophet, God uses her to drive the courageous deeper into His Heart. This is the only safe place. She will keep him a servant for a time. Servants do little damage and make more mistakes she can use. Her greatest fear is when the prophet lays down his mantle to become a Son. This is her greatest fear. As a Son, the prophet picks up the mantle again. He is now more powerful than she. But she is relentless. Her intimidation drove the great Prophet Elijah to the point of wanting to die. This was after he killed all of her demonic prophets of Baal. The church has failed to recognize that the prophet is the lightning rod of most attacks on the church. Jezebel only knows control , domination often by seduction. The church is built on the foundation of the Apostles and the Prophets. Prophets are the eyes for the Apostle. If she can knock off the prophet, she brings to ruin the foundation. The church she will allow to grow and at a crucial time the foundation collapses. She is filled with dark delight and now goes to pick off the flailing wounded. God's prophets are not by any means perfect. To be God’s voice is one of the most exhilarating experiences there is. Difficulty, problems and at times poor communication reside in the prophet, especially young ones. This is for two reasons. First it is to keep them from pride. Paul was given a demonic emissary sent from God. Paul said it was given to him to keep him humble to balance out the great revelations he had been given. The battle prevented him from being lost in pride. The second reason is this, we have all seen leaders that are put too high on a pedestal. They eventually, if they let it get to their ego, fail. A perfect prophet would be made into an idol. The prophet's weakness is the church's protection. Jezebel exemplifies this weakness to discredit the prophetic words from God. My experience is churches are susceptible to seeing the negative and missing God’s direction because of the imperfection of the messenger. She has manipulated many to be jealous of the prophet. He is often attacked on many fronts in the household of God but at times deeply loved. I have seen her turn the direction of churches away from God and into error even though there was a legitimate prophet in the church. This almost always happens when leadership is unbroken. The true prophet weeps in these situations. The main purpose of hers is to bring the church to the place where God says “Ichabod.” This is the worse thing that can happen to a body of believers but is her highest delight. Ichabod means “The Glory of God has Departed.” It is the death of the church, the separation from God’s Grace. The prophet is the test to the church. All like him until he stands and says, "this should not be done or you have left God’s direction.” Jezebels plan is to muddy the water. So no one can see where to go. A darkness of confusion comes. God gives the prophet “night vision.” This is when he is needed the most. She is cunning. She works to discredit the prophet so they will not heed him or her at a crucial time. The hardest for the prophet is when he sees Jezebel has a hold on the leaders. They ultimately become hostile to the prophet. This is when the prophet is in the most danger. Physical sickness attacks him emanating from negative words and lies. The mental and emotional assailment is unknown to most. I believe a prophet could lose his life under such powerful negative spiritual attacks. I don’t think we are aware of the negative power of thought and words emanating from deceived brother and sisters. This is akin to sending a curse. If your church is tolerating this diabolical spirit, sexual failings will ultimately follow. She is the most alluring spirit in Satan's arsenal. If as a leader you do not want to deal with her in your church, it is best not to ask for a prophet. Dan..A Son..A Brother…A Prophet.

,Called before birth he enters the world at conception.
He is raised by God though he does not know it. His life is protected because of a Heavenly plan to make him a Son. Special angels are his invisible guardians jealous as His Father to preserve his life. Why am I different is the cry deep in his heart as he often travels from one problem to another. Relationships are difficult but loyalty is his value of friendship but also a constant sorrow because he fails. Upon his conversion process he is given great personal Revelation from a God He did not know. Little did he understand one purpose of the intimacy received was to keep him through the things he will suffer. The ability to see into people is only enhanced and clarified. He had this before meeting Him. In the midst of his brothers and sisters, he still feels different. The path is unwelcome, he is yet to know his call and destiny. He is unaware there is the Divine Hand shaping and preparing Him to be God’s voice to the church and beyond. He sees the preacher and knows something is not right. He equates this as himself; ”I must be a rebel.” The man or woman before understanding the purpose of multiple trials and testing is often troubled. Very few know how to mentor him. The religious guess work, pastoring without understanding perplex him. Some even say there must be hidden sin. A fledgling. A stumbling man. A desperate cry inside.”Does no-one understand?” He watches others in the wrong and they seem to prosper while his very thoughts are challenged by an unseen force. He is deeply troubled by his failures. “God could you pick on someone other than me for awhile.” Slowly and painfully he matures. God comes to him periodically and gives revelation. He lives for these infrequent encounters. He realizes he somehow is becoming stronger. An inner maturity emerges. A gift, the fruit of trials and tribulation. In new blessings he says “thanks for not giving up on me.” He hears the Father say, ”thanks for not quitting.” An incredible bond. A life changing relationship rests his soul. Good men much wiser than he proclaim, ”you are a Prophet.” A deeper understanding of the process satisfies him in regard to his difficult walk. The endurance of suffering has resulted in the Fathers trust. Being broken over and over under his own struggles and by leaders and others without understanding has brought forth fruit. Submit and be broken. Submit and be broken. Submit and be broken. Leads to freedom. The word comes. “Some day I will send you to speak to the things you see as wrong. But not today.” The prerequisite of all things. Is to be broken by imperfect leaders but love them regardless. Submit and be broken. God lifts him to the platform before many. Respect is given. He feels he is doing good. There is a problem that crushes him. When not in front doing the prophetic ministry, he feels alone. This too is God’s doing. An invisible impression comes to him saying, what do the people need? Another crucial transformation is coming. The prophet still in the making replies. “To hear your Word of course.” “No” is the confusing answer. “They want to know what some is like who says they talk to me.” The true prophet is broken by these words. He realizes he has become a religious junky. He loves the highs but when the crowd and acclamations are gone, loneliness ensues him. The downer from a high. “I don’t know you very well do I, Lord?” Ministry stops and a new search is embraced. Back to square one. “Who are you? I thought I knew you.” He realizes he needs greater transformation. A deeper understanding. Ministry becomes a distant past. The quest to know Him consumes all desire. He realizes he has been outside God doing His work and now God wants him inside. This is the process of growing from a servant to a Son. He does not count the days to get back to ministry because experiencing eternity with the Father is his passion. It takes time to feel at home as a Son. Past earthly father issues must be healed and overcome. All things must be forgiven to receive the all things of God. A new man emerges. He is a Son! The very angels sing praises to God’s victory in the Prophet. “Today” the Lord says, “I send you forth as My Son, the Prophet. You will bring My presence. My Word will be embedded in you. You will be my Word.” Those who accept you, accept Me. Those who reject you reject Me.” Dan..A Son, A brother, A Prophet. Hello friends.
God is now working on His leaders. He does not request but demands transparency and honesty. In some ways, I have seen these qualities resident in many of my unsaved friends and yet lacking in us who are leaders. Many leaders hunger for the manifestation of gifts, the visible works of God but fail to realize all things point to the inner life of embracing truth. It is the life of transparency with God and to others the Lord so desires. The people in the world are ready. We have become their "stumbling block". An angel from God is now released. His name is Transparency. To all leaders who want to walk in absolute honesty, he is your friend and you will become a delight to the Father. To those who resist, you will soon experience this angel as one who will disqualify you and your ministry. Only a transparent leader can bring his people to the oneness of heart God so desires. You do not want to find yourselves at odds in this quality which is God himself. All things hidden will be shouted from the rooftops. Better to have nothing hidden. Transparency is now judging every motive, every element you have kept hidden in your soul. We all have unknown areas in our hearts. God knows this and is with you. He will bring these things out to your understanding and give you the courage, to be honest to all. Very quickly the lack of honesty and transparency will disqualify you. In times past for many, God has sent you the clear message that requires you to change but, you would not listen. You should be aware of his severity towards all leaders who taint His name to their church and the world. Perhaps there is one last time He will come to you. To give in, you will have life. To resist Him, you will lose the little bit of life you have. We need you! You are called. Be afraid, you may lose all you have. To the many great men and women who have embraced truth and are light and life to us all, we love you and honour you. DAN Better think about it. He will not be a rubber stamp for all adventurous undertakings. He stands between your ideas and God's plan. At times you will not like him. At times you will wish he wasn't there. He is accustomed to talking going on behind his back. You may even find yourselves throwing words like stones at him. Yes, your words may hurt him but never will you rid yourselves of the word he delivered to you....
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing." The prophets God sends are far from perfect. If they had all things together, you would make an idol of him. Yet within his speech are the Words of God. To those who listen deeply, he brings life. In this day, God will use the true prophet to bring His Presence or take it away. Today there are many churches who have not taken the prophet seriously and turned from his word. God is now removing His servants the prophets. When this happens the word "Ichabod" is left. This means the" Glory of God has departed." It will be awhile until a church realizes this because they have hardened their reception. The Glory will not come back until they say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord." .....Dan of Maverick Prophetic Ministries. |
