Gotta Love The Witch

I can appreciate people raising an eyebrow. The common understanding that witchcraft is alive and well and found in much of our present rudiments of each day is quite a stretch. Many remember the Shakespeare play Macbeth. The three ugly women witches stirring the steaming cauldron whipping up a spell. Remember, “Double double toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble….Eye of newt and toe of frog wool of bat and tongue of dog.” This type of witch has always been hidden among us. It may be your coworker or your daughter's boyfriend. The news can verify it may even be your son and daughter. Many of the atrocities committed by young people we have found some very dark occult beliefs and practices.

            

The subtle and seemingly harmless presentation of witchcraft came to us in the form of the funny show called 'Bewitched'. It was, “witchcraft meets suburbia nice and sweet.” With the twinkling of your nose and energy released from the imagination you can make people do what they were not intended to do.  Through the working of the imagination and a few spells, the thrill of manipulating others to love or hate sounds like something that sets one apart from their peers. Being a witch, or thinking yourself one, brings a weird sense of significance. In a world that gives little significance to individuals, unless they are gifted with some awesome talent, searching the dark and dangerous realm of witchcraft fills gape in life with a new sense of identity.

To be honest I enjoyed my witchcraft days. I was on a journey to find truth. This was one of my steps along the way. It all was very exciting yet there was a hidden price to pay for living in two realms. We walked in the natural environments and also the hidden. Sounds a like a recipe for instability. In most cases you are right. The experiences took us to high places but coming down was depressing. This world did not offer us much compared to realms hidden, full of unseen powers to experience.

Witchcraft is much more reflective in our western society today than in the recent past. Gaia is the name given to replace the common term, ”mother nature” by many that give  today and not just practicing witches. It is the female part of a male and female god that is worshiped.

Witchcraft is an open way for mind control to take hold. It opens one up and effects control the inner most parts of one's being, planting seeds of instability.  Seeds that can be past down from generation to generation. 

My years in occult experience which includes witchcraft were real. I could move stationary items with my mind. I walked with spirits, saw spirits and with others communed with spirits. I also had what is called an evil eye. Through my eyes I could unleash a frightful stare to anyone who did me wrong. It was a curse and I wanted to harm people and harm people I did.

Why am I bringing this up? Darkness is on it’s deceptive march to take  hold of folk and bring them into a poor counterfeit reality. There are university courses on witchcraft and the paranormal. This is sad and funny. In the 1970’s,  I was watching a children’s show called “Hammy the Hamster.” Just coming out of the occult to faith in Jesus Christ, I saw Hammy, a real hamster, dressed in Gypsy type clothes looking into a crystal ball telling the other hamsters their future. Some of the framework for a significant expose of witchcraft  was done through childhood cartons. I know this sounds far-fetched but it is true, watch for yourself.

I am saying that spiritual darkness is emerging and becoming common place. We are being fashioned to accept this darkness only because it deceives us to believe it is about marvelous enlightenment. Year after year parents are buying ouija boards making the instrument to bring hidden powers into the families, at the top of Christmas sales. There will be greater consequences of unwanted spiritual ventures for many years to come.

Overall the church has done good as well as had significant high profile failures. I have to say this, we failed to understand the nature God gave us. To experience adventure, to walk in the supernatural and most of all to be overwhelmed with the Love of God has not been prevalent. Many have come and gone through our doors with great disappointment. I found a long time ago that church as well as life in general, at best gave some comfort. Comfort was not I wanted or needed.

It is unconditional Love that embraces us and keeps us.

It is a walk with the angels and His Spirit. At the top of my search for reality I found a Loving God, a Father.

It is the closeness and Love to others that heals our loneliness. Humanity in God’s house, {no reference to a building but rather experience} exercised without mind games or rejection.  

Today there is a surge of occult practices both hidden and open. These real yet deceptive practices have permeated into almost every aspect of our western world, especially in TV and music. 

It was God who created all things. Everything witchy embedded in the occult is a twisted counterfeit that leads ultimately to darkness and personal instability. The original dark master, orchestrating the masses, is still saying the same thing, "You can become as God.” God’s response is 'I want you to be my precious Son or Daughter.'

I went from a witch to Jesus. He has been with me as well as His Angels since 1972. It was not an easy transition from a counterfeit belief to the Truth. The powers that are witchcraft, turned on me in vicious ways. It was because of this retaliation that caused me to believe more in the Love and protection of Jesus. 

As I said before, I love witches. Many are on a search as I was. The occult does not contain love nor forgive us for sins. Witchcraft is often an ego deal bringing a false sense of identity and meaning. These are artificial affections. The witch's heart will fail and despondency and instabilities will govern their needy soul to a point where the magic won’t work. They will need the Love of God found in a group of believers, believers who, with out instability, live in realms seen and unseen. 

A  metamorphose in the relationship with our Father is bringing us closer to all trusted places in His heart. I have more hope for more peace. I have hope that the church’s life will prove to the world the wonderful Love and Mercy. Our Love and Wisdom will reach world leaders, Before many went to the witch, the fortune teller, horoscopes and tarot cards. Will we be known as the church of the supernatural? No. The manifestation of hidden secrets and power will bring people to our door, but, it will be our love for one another that will bring them into the magnificent place of God's Presence, His Family.
