A Much Better Season for the Courageous Church

​Let me start by saying not all churches have been courageous. There were times I have not been brave. However, there is a big difference between the fear of telling people that Jesus knows and loves them than criticizing groups of believers who think different. I came to know the saving Love of Jesus in 1972. That’s 46 years!  It’s been a life time of observation. Many times I have complained to the Lord saying, I did not sign up for this. Many times my head fell in shame as He showed me that I too was not innocent. So please do not think I am self righteous. I call on God’s mercy to help me overcome both seen and unseen wrongs that lie within.
 
One of the most humbling things I learned was that I can be absolutely sincere, but sincerely wrong. In these cases I need someone to help me see correctly, not cut me with a religious sword.

Now I want to encourage all those who are hungry to walk a different path, the path of love and wisdom. This path is for those who want their lives going in the direction toward the adventure found only in the Kingdom Of God.

​The courageous church has broken from the mold of the established, traditional system that pushed conformity of it’s members more to the rules, regulations and the hierarchy of leadership than to life and liberty. The courageous are being healed from the burn out caused by the constant demand on their time and finances. Your life has been the “fuel” to keep churches running and finally you have run out of gas and fatigue has become your unwanted companion. 

I want to encourage you…You have been faithful and there is reward!

This courage is now running like a hidden stream in our hearts. I believe in most churches and in many leaders God has heard the cry from the deserts saying, "God there has to be more!" The honesty of your heart has been heard in Heaven. God is responding in ways you can’t see at this time but you will. Before you were just a servant, soon you will know the wonderful benefits withheld for only His Sons and Daughters.

A church that you will be proud of.

God has wanted to dwell in the hearts of His people.  After all from the beginning of the bible to the end rings with the truth, God is the Father. Very soon we His kids will live in the tangible manifest presence of His Fatherhood. Though surrounded by a culture of corruption and the twisted social engineering of politicians and so called intellectual elite, we will experience great wonders. The distant Holy of Holies in the Old Testament will be our dwelling place. The contrast between the light of God radiating from the lives of His family to the surrounding darkness will be astonishing. By seeing the Love and wisdom, the happy families, the lack of sickness and disease and depression, earthly rulers will come. These heads of government and other organizations will understand that God and His people are the only hope for the nations.

Don’t Give Up!!

I grew up as a son of a vet. My father knows more about WWII than a lot of students and maybe a few professors. At 90 years old he still reads war related books every night. Perhaps I inherited the same interest. The heroes of war fascinate me and a great hero of WWII was Winston Churchill. As Hitler did his bombing of London, bringing her to rubble, Winston’s famous words ring for the church.

The new season is happening now. Many great and wonderful gifts are hidden at the moment but they will be revealed. We are becoming strong and brave. We are rising above all the darkness and turmoil of a troubled world. We are beginning to be compelled by Love and not personal success. We will have great faith and when called upon, lay our lives down for one another. We will be called from Heaven and Earth, and from things seen and unseen:
