Humility, the Key to God's Heart: A Message to My Church and all Churches.

Even though I, for a season, live in seclusion, I often sense in my spirit what God is doing in His beloved church. That is our church. I have seen His mighty Foot leave it’s imprint on the very floor of the sanctuary and at that time heard the words “THIS PLACE IS MINE.” I am honoured to be a part of what He is doing and with the people He Loves.

I understand how many would wonder about my living in this place away from the body of believers. I know I would. I hope this letter will help you to understand…. In history a group of secluded brothers and some sisters lived in the desert and were known as the Desert Fathers. I was deeply impressed with this mystical yet devoted group of warriors. All of them could have become well known and well paid Prophets in their known world. They answered the call of God to become unknown to most of the church and world. There needed to be some, who would receive from God, the ability to stay in seclusion and pray. Far from the stir of society, they sought God and Listened. They fought the inner battles of selfish desire and purified their soul from unGodliness. With demons conquered from within, they waged war on the demons with out in realms unseen to the natural eye.

​There are many words that have kept me in faith and gave me balance. The theologian Derek Prince laid a Biblical foundation in me that has been more precious than gold. One of the life sustaining words he gave was to do with prayer. One of his anointed messages was something like this; We defeat the principalities and powers and elements of evil in prayer FIRST and then work in the natural through our service” 

I will not be in this place forever. Our real home is in Heaven. We are ready to move the moment He makes it clear we are to do so. As of yet His work in us is not complete. My dad worked at General Motors. Almost every year they would shut the line down to retool it for another model of car. The tool and die workers would come in and make all the machinery ready for the new model to come forth. I believe this to be a prophetic example for my life and yours too. There is something new from heaven and as a prophetic man every thing in me is being retooled. Judging by the way He is dismantling the old me, the new model will be unrecognizable from the old.

Because of my occult background and the experience and knowledge of the unseen realm, I have been the tip of the spear most of my Christian life. Walking and growing in the prophetic is what I have done since saved in 1972 and in a strange way from birth. The joy of this walk has been wonderful. The downside is that pioneer prophetic people have been a lightning rod for much of the ill’s of the church. It has not been so with Ron and Brenda. Ron has given me more grace than any other leader. God willing I wish to to be back by his side. Until then my prayer and devotion to him is steadfast. In spirit we are close though miles away and the messages we give are are uncannily complimentary.

I am saying this to say, God is also giving me a rest. My gifting is as much Prophetic as it is a Pastor. Probably, in my immaturity, I carried too much of the difficulties I saw prophetically in peoples lives and the overall church and it wore me down. I was out of balance. I am learning now something I have long known, but often failed to do. There is no ministry unless the strong man behind the problem is bound first! This is ministry, lead by the Spirit, into the unseen realms. To see in the spirit realm and live in the normal life where our feet touch the ground is the challenge for all of us. Jesus was the only one who could do this and now He, every moment, is imparting to us His ability on how it is to be done.

Proverbs 6:32 says; “He who controls his spirit is greater than he who takes a city.” The reason why the church Fathers were more powerful than the high level demonic powers they fought was they let Jesus deal with their sins of the flesh. Being transparent to God and wanting Him to work His righteousness in our hearts is the entrance into the unseen realm and the authority that comes with it to bind the strongman. This results in seeing goodness come on earth. We are the power to remove bad government and see God put the right people in.

Here is the Key; God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.”

This is the Word I saw for us as a church. “The church was in a canoe at the mouth of a section of river. Ahead was impassable rapids. The canoe had no paddles and even if it did it would not help. Further above the rapids was calm waters. The Lord then gave one large Paddle to the left side of the boat and said this Paddle will get you over. I believe I saw on the left side at the mouth of the rapids there were rocks.” 

I believe this to be the interpretation…..The fact that the canoe had no paddles and was going upstream tells me it is God who has brought us thus far. The fact that there is no natural way to pass the rapids means God is about to take us to a new level in our experience in His Kingdom. This is where Proverbs 6:32 comes in. The left arm is usually weaker than the right and the Paddle from heaven was given to the left side of the canoe. Therefore; Use wisdom not force.

In our weakness His strength is perfected.  Paul says he will boast about his weakness and not about his gifts or accomplishments, even though he walked in great power and wisdom. God equates greatness as how unselfishly we serve one another.

Lastly, God asked an old prophet at the gates of heaven these words,”Did you learn to Love?”   I am glad the priority to keep unity in the bond of peace is in our love and service to one another.

I sense in my spirit that you are doing well. I also see the canoe swirling around at the mouth of the rapids. This can be frustrating. Be patient and embrace the Paddle of Humility.
